Our curriculum
In addition to drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, All About Children 429 Great South Rd, Opaheke follows the Ministry of Education recommended Te Whariki curriculum. A collaborative approach with educators, parents and the community are adopted. We aim to preserve children’s natural curiosity and confidence, setting them ready to learn with fun. We researched nearly every daycare in the Papakura and Franklin area, and decided on Peter Pan Daycare in Opaheke/Papakura. We always liked the Montessori type philosophy around education, and we felt this daycare had a similar type of feel and approach. We love that the Centre has so many cultures and each is respected and nurtured. After looking at around 20 daycares, this one really ticked all the boxes for us.
